MassMutual has numerous ways to reward the performance of its Financial Professionals (FPs), across all experience levels. MassMutual’s recognition conferences are structured to motivate and reward producers at different stages of their careers, whether their practices focus on proprietary or wealth management business. These opportunities give FPs the chance to build deeper relationships, network, learn from industry experts and from each other.
MassMutual provides the opportunity to qualify for destination conferences, where they have the opportunity to relax and network with their peers and senior leaders from our Home Office.
Stage 1: Leaders Conference Leaders Conference is the company’s largest recognition conference and the only one that includes attendance of qualifiers families. It is designed to be attainable for newer Financial Professionals (FPs) who can network and learn from the best of the company’s field force, home office executives and motivational speakers. These experts can help FPs gain a vision for how they can grow their practices.
Stage 2: Blue Chip Council Conference Blue Chip Council rewards and recognizes FPs who have reached the “next level” of their career. Qualifiers are also eligible to attend the Leaders Conference. This conference is an annual trip at top desinations. Past trips include Jamaica, London, Vienna, Bermuda, Rome and Mediterranean and Baltic cruises.
Stage 3: Top of the Council Conference Top of the Council is an elite experience for qualifiers who represent the top 125 Financial Professionals in first-year commission (FYC) from sales of proprietary products. This conference takes place at an exquisite location and focuses on networking and practice- building. Qualifiers are also eligible to attend the Leaders Conference. Past destinations include Venice, Stockholm, Florence, Grand Cayman, Scotland and Prague.
Stage 4: Wealth Management Conference The Wealth Management Conference is an elite- experience event comparable to the Top of The Council for the top 125 producers in Gross Dealer Concession (GDC) business written via MassMutual’s broker dealer. Financial Professionals who qualify for this conference may also qualify for Top of the Council, or Blue Chip Council and Leaders Conference as well.
Freshman Five: Freshman Five is the most prestigious award for new, inexperienced FPs. The top five FPs are chosen from a pool of eligible candidates and are recognized for their achievements.
Rising Leaders: Rising Leaders is a performance track for FPs who are within their first four-career contract years and have less than one year of previous insurance experience. FPs who meet the production and persistency qualifications will qualify. In addition, these FPs receive an enhanced AAA payout.
Financial Professional of the Year and Chairman’s Club: The Financial Professional of the Year, chosen from the Chairman’s Club is the highest honor given to a FP. Chairman’s Club annually recognizes the top FPs, pinnacles of the Company’s sales force. Members of this winning group are traditionally leaders in the firm, company, industry and community.
Financial Professional (FP) Company Leaders: Company leaders have the highest year-end sales in the First-Year Commission (FYC) and Premium Categories. Top FPs in all class years and products are recognized monthly in our national publication and displayed on the Wall of Fame in the home office.
Financial Professional (FP) Product Leaders: Product leaders have the highest year-end FYC generated in the Life, Annuities, DI and LTC Categories and acknowledged in company publications and displayed on the Wall of Fame.
Exceptional Level of In Force: Exceptional level of in force (ELIF) recognition is a measure of an FP’s long-term success and dedication with the company. Recipients of this honor have a long history of quality MassMutual production and are the best of the best. ELIF qualification demands consistent business development and growth year over year, along with unwavering quality business.
